Membrane filter
It belongs to the aseptic filtration. Different with the sterilization, it uses micro-membrane to remove the microbe, whose aperture is 0.01 ~0.5μm. The holes are so small that can stop the bacteria, so beer won’t need pasteurization any more with this method.
 
Before membrane filtration, beer should take a coarse filtration and a fine filtration firstly, so it is beer’s final filtration. Accompanied with aseptic filling, the membrane filter mainly produces draft beer without pasteurization, which not only improve the biologic stability of beer, but also keep the original fresh taste of beer.
